Which one should we take?
- Two of you, mostly beaches: a scooter or a compact hatchback. Both park anywhere and sip fuel.
- Family of four with suitcases: a compact sedan for the boot, or a compact SUV if you plan monsoon drives inland.
- Six or seven people, or a wedding: the 7-seat SUV. Ask for a child seat when you book; it is free.
- A road trip with photos: the soft-top 4x4, with the roof down on the coast road to the old forts.
